"Sleepwalking" is a song by the British band Sigur Rós. It was released on 14 March 2010 as the lead single from their fifth studio album, Meir (2010). The single was made available as a digital download on 7 March 2010 in the United States and on 12 March in the United Kingdom. The single was made available in a Limited Edition EP, the Sleepwalking EP. The EP also features the song "The Power", which had previously been released on the band's 2008 album Von. The EP was made available exclusively in the United States.
The song was written and produced by the band and recorded in Reykjavík, Iceland, and Heppenheim, Germany. An accompanying video for the song was made by the band and is their first music video for their signature piece, "Ég li á gott." The video was filmed on locations in Brooklyn, New York City, and in Reykjavík, Iceland. The video was directed by Rainer Maria and The Mountain Goats frontman John Darnielle.
An alternate edit of the song was released as a promotional CD single. The CD single features the song in the version performed live in concert during the band's 2008 tour for Von.
